Forecast adjustment decision
A recorded choice to retain or revise scope, date, investment or risk after changed evidence has been investigated and its effect on the forecast has been assessed.
This authored term separates observing a signal from changing a plan. It does not imply that every anomaly warrants intervention or that a forecast should be adjusted before the measurement and plausible causes are checked.
